Apple Picking

I had never been apple picking...but it has been on my "Ideal Fall Activites" list for ages.

We got to Connecticut in time to go on the last weekend the orchards were open.

And if you're gonna pick apples anywhere Connecticut is the place to do it.

It was beautiful.

 There are LOTS of pictures of Naomi in this post because she is just so cute and easy to take pictures of right now.

 Ready to go.

 I didn't think Naomi would want to ride in the wagon but she was perfectly content and fell in love with apples.

 Yep she's still there and perfectly content.

 She started out sitting up and kept sliding down...but she was so comfortable.

Just don't try and take her apple.

Julius wouldn't cooperate for pictures with me.  Then as soon as I was taking family pictures for Amanda he hopped right in and put on a happy face.  Little stinker.

 And did not want to get out.

Still back there.

 One of my favorite things on this trip.

After we finished picking apples we went into the little country store and restaurant for lunch and treats.

Julius had such a great time.
