Church History Trip

For the last few months Ken and I kept throwing out the idea of going to Nauvoo but hadn't really made plans.  Our friends Kurt and Katie mentioned they were going so we decided to go together.  It turned into a mini church history trip.  We flew into Kansas City...visited Independence, Liberty, Far West, Adam-ondi-Ahman, then drove on to Nauvoo and Carthage.
I'd been to Nauvoo and Carthage a couple of times...but not to the other places.  Ken and the kids hadn't been to any.  It was a great trip.

 This is the craziness that was Naomi on the airplane.

This guy was great.

We flew to Kansas City a day before our friends Kurt and Katie so that we could visit Rodney, Phyllicia and Desmond, who live in Kansas. {kens brother and his family}

We got to spend a day with Rodney and Phyllicia then drove back to Kansas City.  Surprisingly Ken and I both really like Kansas City.

 Good Morning Naomi!

What a fun trip, Kat! Your kids are so cute. You know...Kansas City is only four hours from us!
