What Julius says...and what he means.

Since Julius started talking a lot I've been keeping a list of things he would say. For family history purposes I'm gonna finally get these things documented.

February 2011

These are things he was saying sometime right after Naomi was born.  So from when Julius was 2 yrs 3 mos old until he was about 2 1/.2.

{Yes...that's exactly what daddy does.}

Cute things he'd say about Naomi:
Omi  Naomi
Wash dis baby.  Watch this baby.
No fry Omi.   Don't cry Naomi.
Baby frying mom.  Baby's crying mom.
Sup Baby?
It's spitting.  Naomi is spitting. {one of my favorites}

August 2011

These are all things he would say over the summer of 2011 so he was 2 1/2 going on 3 years old.

potcones  popcorn
I hold you  You hold me
I change you  You change me
Daddy change you   Daddy changed me
I help me too  I want to help too

factice  practice {as in..."I need to factice soccer."}
baca boga  happy birthday {seriously. it's a miracle i could understand the kid.}
town out  time out {as in..."Go to town out mommy!"}
basebat  baseball

basketball shoot  basketball hoop
swink drink

Other cute things he says:
So exciting.
I was screamin' and cryin'.
Mmm...that's tastey.
I go work. Bye. See ya.
Never! {real cute huh?}
Big {he wants everything BIG...drink, food, etc...}
I love...
It's my favorite.
Ooh! That'd be fun!
These are so juicy. {we were eating berries}

He calls himself Juwis. {which i love}

Two different moms from church came up to me and said their little girls (who were in nursery with Julius) really liked him. One little girl saw Julius and said to her mom:
"There's Julius...he's cute."

Another little girl said to her mom:
"Julius is my man."

Sometimes when he wants me to do something for him he tries to flatter me. For example:
 Julius: "Get my sippy mommy."
Me: "No. You can get it Julius."
Julius: "But you're strong mommy."

Another time when he asked me to do something for him and I said no because he could do it himself he said:
"But I too small. See. {he showed me his foot} I getting bigger. But I too small mommy."

I showed Julius the BYU flag I got to hang outside for football games and he said:
"Football U flag! That'd be awesome. Let's hang it out!"

I tossed a little basketball his direction and he said:
"Mom. You just shoot me and I not a basketball shoot!"
{basketball hoop}

One evening Julius was sitting on Ken's shoulders and was looking out toward Utah Lake and said:
"I can see the miles."
{I can see for miles.}

One morning I was feeding Naomi some yogurt and out of no where Julius exclaimed in the most serious, stubborn little voice...
"Omi don't like yogurt. Omi likes pancakes."
{Which I thought was hilarious. I never make pancakes. And apparently Julius really wanted some.}

"My tummy hurts cuz I need pumpkin pie with ice cream on it."

Oh man...what a cute kid.

I love these...it made me laugh. I know I should probably correct the kids when they say stuff incorrectly, but I end up encouraging it because I always think it's so funny. Among my brothers and sister we still say stuff that my little sister said incorrectly 15 years ago. we still call remote controls "camotes," back pack "packpack," and computers "puters."
