Leaving Rome

We left Rome on Saturday morning to drive to Tuscany.

We took a cab to the rental car office at the train station. There were about 20 people in front of dad in line and one person working. We sat outside with the kids like this forever. He finally got through the line but our car wasn't ready.

But these two drew some great pictures of Rome while we were waiting.

Then we had to walk down the street to a garage to get it. After about 3 hours total we finally got a car and it was not what we had reserved. It was a little smaller but we fit. We decided to take it and switch it out in Florence. Did I mention it was hot?

But on the way out of town we drove by the Rome Temple!!!!

The site is actually just off the highway we were taking to Tuscany.
