The Name

Naomi Acola Ojuka

I just really loved the name Naomi, which is why I wanted to use it. I pitched it to Ken and he liked it too. It's also a nice coincidence that it was my great grandma's name. I don't really remember her but I do remember my grandpa talking about her. (Grandpa Anderson died in January of this year)

As for the middle name, Acola (pronounced Achola)...

This is Ken's mom's given name.

She was born in Uganda and at birth given the name Acola.

Then she was christened Anna Grace.

And she goes by Grace.
