Our good friends Jeff & Casey were in southern California visiting family and invited us down. Ken's been needing a vacation for a while now so this was the perfect get away. Especially since it feels like Alaska in Utah right now.

On the drive to warmer weather.

The coolest day we had the whole week and it was still pretty nice.

Julius didn't want to have anything to do with the water.

I think the noise of the waves was making him nervous.

He's only been to the beach one other time, when he was one. I'm assuming he doesn't remember it.

He liked the sand though.

Our other good friends Tiffany & Noah live in the same area which was great for us.

Lots of friends to hang out with all week.

There was this wanna be dance crew in the parking lot at the beach...

As soon as Julius heard the music he ran over and started dancing right next to them.

Not shy at all I guess.

He just kept going and they even started watching him.

A couple of different people walked by and agreed he had more rhythm than the other guys.
