Family Reunion

So my family had our second family reunion this summer. We started doing it two years ago...the summer I was pregnant with Julius. That year we all met in Cincinnati, Ohio and Louisville, Kentucky where two of my sisters and their families live. This year everyone came to Provo! We call our reunion the "Jensen Symposium" (thanks to my clever sister Emily who started the whole thing). Besides planning fun activities, mostly for the kids, the adults prepare a short "class" on any topic they choose. The idea is that a good way for us to all catch up on each other's lives/new interests/new hobbies etc... is for us to each take a minute to share something we are currently interested in. Also my family has always been big on education and learning. So this is a good way to incorporate that family value into our reunion. It's actually a lot of fun...everyone gets creative, and we get a chance to teach each other, learn from each other, and catch up on each other's lives through our "symposium classes". And of course we do the whole t-shirt thing...because what kind of family reunion doesn't require everyone to wear the same shirt?!

2010:
9 Adults (Ben couldn't make it)
11 kids

Everyone stayed at our place! Good thing we have a basement and we all like each other.
